2010 - Summer camp / study holiday with courses of English or Italian in an international community in Italy at Lignano Sabbiadoro, a leading seaside resort near Venice. Special programmes for :

This summer camp / study holiday combines courses of English or Italian with a leisure programme offering sports and free time activities set in the modern Villaggio Adriatico Sportivo GE.TUR summer camp centre set in 60 hectares of pinewoods and enjoying 1,2 Km of private beach at Lignano Sabbiadoro.
Your child's safety
The summer camp complex has full security coverage 24 hours a day.
Qualified lifeguards are on duty on both the beach and in the swimming pools.
Kids under the age of 16 are not allowed to leave the camp unaccompanied at any time: over 16s may go out unaccompanied by the camp staff (but having agreed the time for their return) provided they have their parents' written consent.
Facilities
The summer camp staff use all the Villaggio Adriatico facilities in organizing a full and varied programme of sports and creative free time activities: the facilities include a football pitch, 3 5-a-side pitches, 4 courts for volleyball, basketball, beach volleyball and tennis.

The teaching staff
All the teachers have post-graduate certification and are experienced in teaching their language as a foreign language to youngsters. The summer camp sports programme and leisure workshops are managed by specialised trainers so freeing the teaching staff to concentrate on your children's learning programme.
Language course structure
The Italian and English language courses offer 20 45-minute lessons a week in modern classrooms between 9.30 am and 12.45 pm, 5 days a week. The lessons pay particular attention to the communicative aspects of language  as the participants use role play and other group activities to build confidence and fluency. There is a maximum of 15 kids per class, divided by age and language level.

The sports offered include football, handball, basketball, beach volleyball, tennis and beach games. Leisure activities include treasure hunts, swimming in the sea and swimming pools, quiz evenings, discotheque (within the summer camp complex), pizza evenings. Available with a supplement to be paid on site: pedalò hire, kitesurfing, bowling, rollerblading, theme and water park visits, skating, cycling and crazy golf.

Pocket money
We suggest about €50 pocket money a week. The summer camp staff will keep the money safe and distribute it daily as needed, above all to buy snakes and soft drinks. An evening out at the local cinema costs about €5.
The summer camp rules
Students between the ages of 8 and 16 may not under any circumstances leave the the summer camp complex unaccompanied. 
Students aged from 17 to 18 amy leave the summer camp complex unaccompanied only with their parents' written permission.
The consumption of alcohol and the use of drugs is severely prohibited.
Students under the age of 14 may not smoke. Smoking is not permitted at any time in any part of the summer camp complex
Students aged between 13 and 15 must be in their rooms by 23.00.  Students aged between 16 and 18 must be in their rooms by 24.00. All students must remain in their rooms until morning.
Attendance of the language lessons and participation in the activities programme is compulsory.
All students are to keep their rooms, beds and lockers tidy at all times and in particular left in good order in the mornings in order to allow daily cleaning.
The organizers of the summer camp reserve the right to expel any student who refuses to observe these rules and to insist on the early return home of the student at his/her family's expense.
Mobile phones may be used between 19.00 and 22.00 and are to be kept off at all other times.
